Melissa G.B. signs a contract with Atmosphere Press

The Marriage Wars will be published through Austin-based publisher Atmosphere Press.

I'm excited to announce my partnership with Atmosphere Press out of Austin, Texas to publish my first novel The Marriage Wars.

The novel follows Olivia Smith, a wife and mother of two, rising in a dystopian world called the Nation. Under Nation marriage laws, Olivia was forced to marry Thomas Smith to save her sister and mother from dire circumstances. When she reaches her tenth wedding anniversary she decides to finally use her Marriage Reward at the Challenge Center. Throughout her time at the Center she uncovers secrets, reconnects with an old love, and decides what she really wants out of life: a life with Thomas in the Nation or a life with someone else.
